National Land Use Act: Pasado na sa 3rd Reading ng Kamara

House of Representatives—Nakapasa na sa 3rd Reading ng 19th Congress ang House Bill (HB) no. 8162 o National Land Use Act na naglalayong ayusin ang paggamit ng ating mga yamang lupa.

Isang malaking tagumpay umano ang pagpasa ng NALUA dahil sa kakulangan ng mga maayos na polisiya sa bansa kung paano maayos na gagamitin at papamahalaan ang ating mga yamang lupa.

Ayon kay Siargao Rep. Francisco Jose Matugas, Chair ng Special Committee on Land Use, “This bill [National Land Use Act] being passed into law will be a sure-fire game-changer in terms of foreign investment for the Philippines.”

“One of the objectives is for our friends from all parts of the world — who carry with them the right resources and good intentions for our country — to immediately see an organized, prepared and detail-oriented Philippines ripe and ready for their investments,” dagdag niya.

Nakapasa ang bill na may 262 na boto.
