SIMC Get Fully-Automated Urine Analyzer for Better Services

Siargao Island Medical Center (SIMC) upgrades equipment for urine tests from manual processes of urine to fully-automated urine analyzer for enhanced healthcare services.

Senior Medical Technologist in Clinical Laboratory Aida Golindang stated in an interview on Tuesday, August 8, that the manual procedure takes time and more process to examine the result of just one patient’s test while the automated machine can cater to more than one patient in a matter of minutes. “This urine analyzer makes our job more efficient than before,” Golindang said.

Because of this, we will be able to provide better services for the people of Siargao,” Dr. Digal concluded.
